My father and I traveled to Chehaw Raceway in Georgia. This was quite a special event as it was held to raise money for the families affected by the murder of two policemen. Over 00 was raised and I am glad I was part of this amazing race.

The track was unlike the large regional events we have been attending lately. The smaller, dustier, harder-to-race-on track was a challenge to any racer with the mindset, ‶fast is faster※. A slower, more stable vehicle was far superior.

Qualifying went very well for me. I TQed Expert E-Buggy, and qualified 2nd in Expert Nitro Buggy behind Chandler Elliott with the Mugen Car. Simple mistakes cost me the double TQ. However, I redeemed myself I took the victory in both classes. As the track grooved up, and dust was removed, the cars felt better.
